The big park on the south bank: ball fields, the off-leash dog park, an accessible fishing platform on the St. Vrain and the dirt-jump bike park. The St. Vrain Trailhead at its edge gives the river path, and the festival shuttles run from here.
Shelters and pavilions can be reserved for group picnics, and picnic tables on summer weekends and holidays. Dry camping at the nearby Second Avenue trailhead, booked through a separate reservation system, is summer overflow for campervans and trucks with slide-in campers, not tent camping.
