Heil Valley Ranch
Nineteen miles of trail south of town; the Picture Rock trail runs from the Lyons side up to the ranch and links to Wild Turkey and Wapiti for a long loop.
The big open space south of town. Picture Rock (5.2 miles, moderate) climbs from the Lyons side and links to Wild Turkey (2.9) and Wapiti (3) for a long loop; the Ponderosa, Overland, Schoolhouse and Lichen loops sit by the main trailheads off Lefthand Canyon Drive. On-trail only, since it is elk habitat; no dogs and no e-bikes anywhere on the ranch.
